Finding a church that fits can be hard work. We want to help you out. Below are some pages that can help you learn who we are and what we are all about.
We have chosen the image of the vine to reflect our vision who God is calling us to be. In John 15:5, Jesus says, I am the vine and you are the branches. Those who are connected with me will bear much fruit.
We ourselves want to be connected to God and to help others find that connection as well. We are also striving to be a place where people from all backgrounds and walks of life can grow together as a community NS grow together in their life with God.
Flowing from this is our mission and our purpose:
CONNECTING PEOPLE to God and each other &
IMPACTING OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH THE LOVE OF CHRIST

We want to help people get connected to God, for he has made a way through Jesus Christ. We also want to help our neighbors, many of whom are new residents, connect with each other, and so build a sense of community around Clayton. We also want to make an impact for good.
As we do this we will be guided by...
Everything that we do will be done with an eye toward making newcomers feel wanted and welcome. They will know by what we do that we are "here for them." (Hebrews 13:2)
We believe that God meets us in Scripture. Therefore we will engage Scripture, letting it shape our minds and our imaginations. (2 Tim. 3:13-17)
God has gifted and called each one of us to play a special role in serving him, not just those who are paid by the church. We will do our best to help folks identify their gifts and put them in a place to use them. (Ephesians 4:7-16)
The best way to do ministry is with others. We want to put people on teams and set them free to follow their passions and do the ministry to which God is calling them, with the minimum amount of bureaucracy. (Mark 6:7)
God's heart breaks for the lonely and lost of this world. He has invited us to be his partner in his ministry to the world. We will go anywhere and do anything to be faithful to our calling as a church. (1 Corinthians 9:19-23)
We are passionate about empowering and equipping people to do use the gifts that God has given them.
